How to upload patient data from Accu-Chek® devices using Web Device Link

Issue

<p>I want to upload my patient’s data from their Accu-Chek® device to the RocheDiabetes Care Platform using Web Device Link.</p>

Solution

<p>To upload data from Accu-Chek® devices first ensure that the patient account exists in the RocheDiabetes Care Platform.</p><p>If this is your first time creating a patient account, the following articles may prove useful:&nbsp;</p><ul><li><a href="/care/professionals/manage-patients/how-create-patient-account">How to create a patient account using a sharing code</a>.</li><li><a href="/care/professionals/connect-mysugr/how-create-patient-account-and-invite-them-use-mysugr">How to create a patient account and invite them to use mySugr®</a></li></ul><p>Once you have confirmed that the patient account exists in the RocheDiabetes Care Platform:</p><ol><li>From the navigation bar, click on&nbsp;Upload data <span><img height="23" src="https://lh7-eu.googleusercontent.com/pmqNyXLB0RgcMWthh4MMs2WyctdlkqH1zfZ-C2dr6EVLKejH32qZO1O-R_5CJsmJ7-FwdemVGL84c0esTh45gtIa-Cpn5ZMBCIdaIar6Dqu90UAoI4Hxd4wjnSHkdBfqS2MILESykbfVCgNTS7Dbco0" width="20"></span></li><li>On the new window that opens, select <strong>Accu-Chek</strong>.</li><li>Click <strong>Continue</strong> to start Device Link.</li><li>A pop up message may appear asking if you would like to Open DevicelinkAgent?<ul style="list-style-type:lower-alpha;"><li>Check the box “Always allow https://care.rochediabetes.com to open links of this type in the associated app”.</li><li>Then click <strong>Open DeviceLinkAgent</strong>.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul></li><li>Please, connect the Accu-Chek® device to the computer when prompted.</li><li>Once the device is detected, the Patient assignation window will appear:<ul style="list-style-type:lower-alpha;"><li>If the device is already assigned to a patient, click <strong>Upload</strong>, and then <strong>View patient</strong>, once the upload process is complete.</li><li>If the device is not assigned to a patient, click on<strong> Assign device to patient</strong><ul style="list-style-type:lower-roman;"><li>Search for your patient by name, and hit <strong>Enter</strong> on your keyboard.</li><li>Select your patient by clicking on the name, and click <strong>Assign</strong>.</li><li>Click <strong>Upload</strong>.</li><li>Then click on <strong>View patient</strong>, once the upload process is complete.</li></ul></li></ul></li></ol><div class="article-notice-warning" role="alert"><button class="icon-close notice-icon" type="button"> <img src="/modules/custom/roche_global_settings/templates/icon/Cross.svg" alt="notice close icon"> </button><strong>Note:</strong> If the Accu-Chek device is not detected, verify that it is compatible by clicking on <strong>Information</strong> (top right), and then clicking <strong>Compatible devices</strong>.
